CueVault ("CueVault", "we", "us") is a browser extension that lets you bookmark specific moments in YouTube videos, automatically generate a short AI title and summary for each moment, and search your saved moments later.
This policy explains what data CueVault handles, why, where it goes, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to run the product and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

When you save a moment, the extension processes:

CueVault does not collect your browsing history outside the moments you explicitly save, your payment-card details (handled by our payment processor, not us), or any data from non-YouTube sites. Signing in is optional — if you don't, CueVault works anonymously with a randomly generated device identifier and we never receive your email.
CueVault reads the transcript that YouTube renders on the video page you are already watching. It does this only when you actively save a moment. CueVault is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

We retain your saved moments until you delete them or delete your account. Deleting a moment (or "Delete all" for a video) removes it from your device and issues a delete request to the backend. You may request full deletion of all server-side data at any time by emailing channabasavakolsur@gmail.com; we will process it within 30 days.
Data in transit is protected with TLS. Data stored on the backend is encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
CueVault's use of information received from Google/YouTube, and of data you save, complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, the data CueVault handles is used only to provide and improve the bookmarking, AI-titling, and search features visible to you. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not used for creditworthiness or lending, and not transferred to third parties except the subprocessors listed above (solely to operate the product), or as required by law.
CueVault is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, announced in the extension or store listing.
